Conspiracy to Murder Charge Reversed
Criminal Defense Attorney Joseph F. DeFelice, Esq. of Kew Gardens defended Trevor Lucas in Supreme Court, Queens County with a charge of conspiracy to murder in the 2nd degree.
Although police officers involved in the investigation presented evidence of co-conspiracy, Mr. DeFelice established there was no evidence presented that his client was involved in any planning of the death of gang members Leighton Friday or Nicholas Morris nor was he present during the criminal act.
Mr. DeFelice received a reversal and dismissal of the indictment on appeal in the case of People v Trevor Lucas. The indictment was dismissed.
