On May 10, 2016 the United States Court of Appeals for the second circuit rendered it’s decision in the matter of Rodriguez v Heath. Represented by Attorney Joseph F. DeFelice, Mr. Rodriguez learned his conviction for manslaughter in the 2nd degree would be vacated due to a violation in due process during state court proceedings.

The court also found that the state conviction involved unreasonable application of clearly established federal law, as determined by the supreme court of the United States. Read More
